From eclectic perspectives of partners Kylie Hazzard and Cameron Black, Sand Box explores the absurdities of modern life, through timeless music made with love.
The mission here is living, breathing songs. Playtime is central to Sand Box, with fluidity, emergence, and flow becoming alive during their performances, with no two being the same.
Sand Box invites you to imagine, dig deeper, then step back and see the larger picture.
Based in Los Angeles, Hazzard and Black are established creative professionals in the music and film industries, who quickly began various collaborations after meeting in 2019, such as composing for film, sound design, and session work. Their various talents are now joined into Sand Box.
Sand Box performs as a trio with Cris Cornejo on drums.
